Pursue the things you love while allowing God to pursue you.

What is Pursuit?

It is a reminder that our passions, whether in work, family, creativity, or community — are gifts to be lived out boldly. It’s about leaning into those passions with excellence, sharing them with others, and allowing the journey to transform us along the way.

The Pursuit Story

Pursuit started with a simple question: why do we love the things we love? For me, it began in the outdoors and camp life, where passion and faith first collided. That spark turned into weekends, retreats, and eventually a handful of hats that carried a story. The “rule” was simple: if you wear it, you share it.

What began as a personal practice (strive with excellence, stay humble, and invite God into the work) resonated with others. Friends, kids, and neighbors saw the logo and wanted language for what they already felt: that our passions are gifts, meant to be lived boldly and shared in community.

Now Pursuit is more than a logo or a retreat. It’s a reminder that the real adventure is the journey itself—pursuing what’s on our hearts, offering it back to God, and inviting others to do the same. Pursue boldly, with God, in community.

How did Pursuit happen?

Pursuit grew out of real conversations, lived experience, and a shared desire to close the gap between intention and action.

Ben Moody is a husband, dad, and builder of teams, projects, and communities. He’s always been someone who loves turning “we should” into “we did” - not just in work, but in life. Over time, he began to notice a common tension across people he admired and worked alongside: a genuine desire to live with purpose, excellence, and faith, but uncertainty about how to do that consistently in everyday life.

A key voice in shaping Pursuit was Father Michael, whose guidance, perspective, and encouragement helped give language and clarity to what Ben was already living and wrestling with. Through conversations about vocation, discipline, faith, and responsibility, the idea for Pursuit took form - not as a program to escape the world, but as an invitation to engage it more fully.

Pursuit exists for founders, teachers, students, artists, athletes, parents—anyone who wants to strive with excellence and walk with God in the ordinary rhythms of life. It’s not about perfection. It’s about showing up, doing the work in front of you, and pursuing what matters with intention.
